Solar integrated navigation light

Navigation lights can be divided into two categories according to the power supply mode: power-connected navigation lights and solar navigation lights. The solar navigation lights are divided into integrated and split types according to the degree of product integration. The integrated type means that the lamp, battery, solar panel, etc. are combined to form an integral structure; the split type is generally the solar panel is separated separately, and the lamp is installed separately through a long wiring. The former is mainly suitable for lamps with low power consumption. The solar panels are smaller in size, which is more consistent with the lamps. The latter solar panels are generally larger in size and are suitable for the northern areas with weak sunlight or the lamps with higher power consumption.


The quality of navigation lights mainly depends on three aspects: battery, solar panel and light source.


(1) The battery is the heart of the solar aviation obstruction light, and it is the core factor that determines the service life of the lamp. At present, there are probably lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries on the market. For cost reasons, lead-acid batteries are more commonly used. The advantage is low price, but the disadvantage is that compared with lithium batteries, the service life is not long, the maintenance is difficult, and the quality is relatively heavy. Lithium batteries can be truly maintenance-free, with relatively small power attenuation, and also meet the lightweight standards proposed by the country.


(2) The photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar panels mainly depends on the photoelectric conversion efficiency of silicon solar panels produced by good manufacturers can reach more than 20%. The solar panel must choose monocrystalline silicon with high light transmittance, and the light transmittance is preferably above 95%. Can use sunlight more effectively. Otherwise, in rainy weather, the charging during the day will not keep up with the power consumption at night, which will cause the lamps to work intermittently and affect the safety of navigation.


(3) Most of the light sources of solar navigation lights are LEDs, which have low power consumption and high brightness, and are a new generation of green light sources. Good LEDs generally use imported chips (such as Taiwan Epistar), the internal wiring is 99.99% gold wire, and the pins are pure copper plated with silver or tin; poor LEDs are generally made of domestic chips, using silver wires or Copper wire, the pins are also tin-plated iron. Although there is not much difference in brightness, good lamp beads have a relatively small luminous decay, and the brightness will remain the same after two or three years; while the luminous decay of almost lamp beads is relatively large, and the brightness of the later period will be significantly weakened.
