Mobile Phone Signal Tower Disguised As A Tree

In 1996, a palm tree came to Cape Town, South Africa. The tree rose flat on the ground overnight, and it was not yet a normal tree: it was one of the first disguised cell phone towers in the world. Mobile phone operating companies did not use cold and boring metal towers to stand on the ground, but began to focus on integrating the signal tower with the natural environment. This "false tree" concept quickly spread throughout Cape Town, South Africa, and the entire world. In response to the singular momentum of the "Pseudo Tree" signal tower, photographer Dillon Marsh (link) decided to take a series of photos to prove the popular trend of the "Pseudo Tree" signal tower.
