1. Anti-rust and anti-corrosion methods
All member materials of steel tower structure (except anchor bolts) shall be treated with anti-rust treatment. Hot dip galvanizing method shall be generally adopted. Corrosion resistance of 30 years is required.
2. The thickness of anti-rust and anti-corrosion coating shall meet the following requirements:
(1) if the component thickness is greater than or equal to 5mm, the thickness of galvanized layer shall be no less than 86cm;
(2) if the component thickness is less than 5mm, the thickness of galvanized layer shall not be less than 65mm.
3. Other requirements
The surface of the galvanized layer of the component shall be smooth and practical, no burr, overgrowth and excess caking are allowed in the joint, and no acid pickling, iron dew and other defects are allowed. Galvanized zinc layer should be uniform, and with the base metal firmly combined, after hammering no peeling, no bulge.
4. Anti-rust and anti-corrosion requirements for foundation bolts and baseplate
Before the steel tower structure is installed, anti-rust measures should be taken and properly protected to prevent bolt corrosion and damage. The gap between the base plate (flange) of the steel tower column and the foundation shall be compacted with fine stone concrete after the installation of the steel tower is completed. After debugging and testing, the tower footplate and anchor bolt at the tower foot should be sealed with low-strength grade concrete and the thickness of protective layer should not be less than 50mm
