Anti rust and anti-corrosion requirements of communication tower
1. Methods of rust prevention and corrosion protection
All component materials of steel tower structure (except anchor bolts) shall be subject to anti rust treatment. Generally, hot-dip galvanizing method shall be adopted, with 30-year anti-corrosion capacity.
2. The thickness of anti rust and anti-corrosion coating shall meet the following requirements:
(1) For members with thickness greater than or equal to 5M m, the thickness of galvanized layer shall not be less than 86 μ m;
(2) For members with thickness less than 5m m, the thickness of galvanized layer shall not be less than 65 μ M.
3. Other requirements
The galvanized surface of the component shall be practical and smooth, and there shall be no burr, diffuse tumor and excessive caking at the connection, and there shall be no defects such as pickling and exposed iron. The galvanized zinc layer shall be uniform and firmly combined with the basic metal, and shall not be peeled or raised after hammering.
4. Anti rust and anti-corrosion requirements for foundation bolts and foot plates
Before the installation of the steel tower structure, the bolts exposed to the top of the foundation shall be protected against rust and damage. The gap between the steel tower base plate (flange) and the foundation shall be poured with fine aggregate concrete after the steel tower is installed. After debugging and testing, the foot plate and anchor bolt at the foot of the tower should be sealed with low-strength concrete and the thickness of the protective layer should not be less than 50mm
