What is a signal tower
Signal tower is a wireless signal transmission device built by China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and other network operators. It looks like a tower, so it is called a signal tower. It is also a form of a public radio station, which refers to a radio transceiver station that performs information transfer with a mobile phone terminal through a communication switching center in a certain radio coverage area. Since the popularization of wireless cities, the signal tower has been used as a base point for signal transmission of urban WIFI.
Some people refer to the signal tower as a base station, such as a "telecom base station", which connects the fixed part to the wireless part, and connects the equipment to the mobile station through wireless transmission in the air.
