Structure classification of communication tower
The steel tower and mast are generally divided into the following categories from the type of profile steel material:?
1. Angle steel tower
The main materials and web members are mainly iron towers made of angle steel. According to the different section variables, there are triangle tower, quadrangle tower, pentagonal tower, hexagonal tower and octagonal tower. The most commonly used communication towers are the quadrangle tower and the triangle tower.
2. Steel tube tower
The main material of the tower is steel pipe, angle steel or steel pipe. According to the section shape, the steel tower with the same angle is classified. The three pipe tower and four pipe tower are used most in communication.
3. Single tube tower (single tube tower)
The whole tower body is a cantilever structure made of a single large-diameter steel pipe.
