Prestressed concrete rod
In the 1980s, China developed a centrifugal ring-shaped prestressed concrete electric pole. Its manufacturing process is mainly to stretch the steel wire skeleton longitudinally in a steel mold, and then make the concrete squeeze out excess moisture under the action of centrifugal force, thereby greatly improving the compactness and strength of the concrete. In order to make the concrete reach 70% of the design strength quickly, steam curing can be performed to shorten the demolding cycle. The use of prestressed concrete poles saves steel compared with ordinary reinforced concrete poles, but also improves crack resistance and service life
