Development history of telephone poles
In early China, the material of electric poles developed from wood to reinforced concrete. A telephone pole, as its name implies, is a pole for electric wires. It is suitable for urban and rural power grid high and low voltage power transformation and various power overhead lines and communication cable erection. It is one of the important infrastructures for power supply and communication.
In the early days, various electric poles started from wooden poles, including even high-voltage electric poles whose voltage level was not too high. Later, due to the development of steel and reinforced concrete and technical requirements, these two materials replaced most of the wood poles, and the applicable wood became scarce, and it was basically difficult to see wood poles in cities. However, in some less developed places, wooden poles are used to set up telephone lines because the wooden poles are light in weight and easy to set up, and the load and tension of the telephone lines are small. The wooden poles can be competent. If the telephone lines are changed, it is also convenient to move the poles . Therefore, there are some wooden telephone poles. Later, it was manufactured using the principle of centrifugal force. Reinforced concrete tapered cement poles and equal-diameter cement electric poles replaced most of the wood poles. The cement electric poles were durable, corrosion-resistant, temperature-resistant, high-strength, and crack-resistant. The production of cement electric poles is cured by steam in a steel mold at a certain speed (generating sufficient centrifugal force to make the cement material form a hollow pole in the middle). The steel mold is a composite of two mold halves for feeding and removing finished products. Therefore, it is necessary to mix the mixing of the pole framework (reinforcement cage) with the cement slurry (cement + stone + sand + water) in accordance with the proportion requirements before forming. Therefore, its production principle is simple, but it requires certain lifting equipment, site and certain mechanical equipment.
