Different point: different light source
The difference between the two can be seen from the name: one is an LED light source and the other is a xenon tube light source. This also determines that the essential difference between the two obstruction lights lies in the difference in the light source.
LED obstruction lights: Because of the low power consumption and long life of LEDs, more and more obstruction lights now use LED light sources, replacing the previous halogen bulbs. LEDs can emit the same luminous intensity with much lower power consumption. At present, low-intensity and medium-intensity obstruction lights generally use LED light sources.
Xenon tube obstruction light: It is characterized by high luminous brightness. Similar to the shutter of a camera, the xenon lamp has a high luminous brightness, a short duration, and a longer visual distance. Therefore, in the high-intensity aviation obstruction light, LED can not completely replace the xenon tube.
In general, the obstacle lights of these two light sources are the two most mainstream at present. As long as they are light sources produced by regular manufacturers, they are basically reliable, and this obstacle is relatively trustworthy!
