Advantages and disadvantages of power poles and corner towers in power transmission projects
1. Power pole:
Advantages: Simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, save installation time, and occupy a smaller area than corner towers.
Disadvantages: The price is higher than the corner tower, and the safety is not as good as the corner tower. To achieve the same safety, the diameter should be larger and the wall strength should be higher.
2. Corner Tower:
Advantages: higher safety level, more convenient transportation. Lower price. The wind pressure drop of the angle plate is small, and the gas flow is large.
Disadvantage: Takes up more space than monopole.
