Camouflage Palm Tree Communication Tower: It is a communication tower with various bark and leaves added. Compared to natural leaves, the resulting leaves are real in size and the way they bend in the wind. In addition to the natural appearance and wind effects, all leaves are radio-frequency transparent and extend beyond the surface of the antenna array. Wind tunnel testing of leaf-shaped components has excellent survivability in winds exceeding 80 mph. We also offer palm tree designs, antennas inside the trunk, pineapples, and even dead leaves radomes without antennas visible. This configuration provides the ultimate tree hiding. The bark is molded from custom formulated polyurethane; approximately one and a half pound per square foot. The bark is made of molds made from real algae bark. The natural curves, cracks and textures of real tree bark are reproduced with realistic details. The craftsman then finished the bark with proper painting and highlighting, creating a very natural look. Like all our poles, the bark is attached to a pole that has been hot-dipped galvanized, providing another layer of protection. Because it requires no maintenance, the life expectancy of the bark exceeds 30 years. If fading occurs over time, the bark can be easily repainted.
